Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria Scale

Remember that time when someone didn't text back and your brain immediately jumped to "they hate me, I'm unlovable, and everything is terrible forever"? Or when your boss gave neutral feedback and you spent the next week convinced you were getting fired? That's not you being "too sensitive" – that's Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD), and it's a VERY real thing for many neurodivergent brains. (I just described the majority of my 20s)
Rejection-Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) isn’t a formal diagnosis. It’s a way to describe the extreme, overwhelming emotional sensitivity some people experience when they perceive rejection or criticism.
A few years ago, I created an anxiety scale and a depression scale that were loosely based on the popular pain scale. I realized that so many of us find value in being able to categorize our experiences so this scale is another tool to help you acknowledge and verbalize your experiences.
✨ What’s Inside?
- A 19-page PDF with a black and white version for easy printing
- A clear breakdown of what RSD looks like
- A default scale that categorizes five levels of RSD
- A worksheet to help you see what thoughts, behaviors, and emotions you experience
- A blank scale so that you can create your own based on YOU
- A worksheet to help you breakdown your reactions
- Space to track your emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations
- Journaling prompts to help you process and reframe your experiences

Can I Get A Physical Copy?
Unfortunately, I don’t have the resources to print and ship all of my workbooks. If you want a physical copy you are welcome to purchase the digital file and then have it printed at Staples, The UPS Store, FedEx, or any other printing company as long as it’s just for your own personal use!
All of my products also have Digital Fill-In Enabled, meaning that you can fill them in straight from your phone/tablet/or computer.
Apps like Adobe Reader, XoDo, or GoodNotes allow you to “write” inside the PDF, so you can carry it around with you whenever you need it!

I Am Not A Mental Health Professional
While I LOVE talking about mental health - I am NOT a professional. All of my worksheets come from lived experience which makes them unique but it's also important to note that they aren't a replacement for therapy. I'm not a therapist and I always recommend you work through my workbooks with one!
