One thing I've noticed when it comes to financial articles/workbooks/resources - is that they always assume the reader is middle-class and that there's some hidden resource you have in your life that you can just save, invest, or side-hustle your way into stability.
I get that it's hard to create financial tools for people who are struggling because there are SO many reasons why they might be struggling. My workbook doesn't have any magic, eye-opening, solutions, or financial advice. What it does focus on is where/how/when you're beating yourself up about finances and explore feelings of shame/guilt/anxiety around money and finances.
I think that's something that is always overlooked but so needed.
My childhood created financial anxiety so severe that it caused executive dysfunction. At one point in my life, I was so anxious about paying bills that I was too anxious to make myself pay bills. It was a vicious cycle that I felt so alone in. I really wanted to create a resource that would help people understand their struggles.
Financial Self-Care has five different parts.
💗 Financial Self-Care Workbook: This workbook goes over how you feel about money and finances and why you feel that way. It explores how your childhood shaped your feelings about money and where stress and anxiety come from. It also has lots of self-care tips based on if you're a spender, (anxious) saver, or avoider!
💗 Financial Self-Care Planner: This includes a ton of budgeting and savings worksheets. There are pages to track debt, bills, subscriptions, and memberships.
💗 Jan-Dec Monthly Review: This has two pages for each month - one to fill out at the start of the month and one to fill out at the end of it. It also has a helpful monthly checklist!
💗 Affirmations: A book of 48 affirmations to help you cultivate compassion for yourself when it comes to money.
💗 Journaling: These journaling prompts will help you uncover what financial security looks like for you, what mistakes you've made that you could learn from, and the healthy (and unhealthy) ways you deal with financial stress.
Altogether it's over 80 pages!
Each one also comes with a black-and-white version for easy and cost-effective printing.
With all of my products, not only can you download them and print them out, but you can also fill them in straight from your computer or phone because they are digital fill-in enabled with ADOBE READER. With your phone/tablet, apps like XoDo or GoodNotes allow you to "write" inside the PDF. You can carry it around with you whenever you need it! You can also have the PDF printed from someplace like Staples or FedEx, if you'd prefer a physical copy!

Unfortunately, I don’t have the resources to print and ship all of my workbooks. If you want a physical copy you are welcome to purchase the digital file and then have it printed at Staples, The UPS Store, FedEx, or any other printing company as long as it’s just for your own personal use!
All of my products also have Digital Fill-In Enabled, meaning that you can fill them in straight from your phone/tablet/or computer.
Apps like Adobe Reader, XoDo, or GoodNotes allow you to “write” inside the PDF, so you can carry it around with you whenever you need it!

While I LOVE talking about mental health - I am NOT a professional. All of my worksheets come from lived experience which makes them unique but it's also important to note that they aren't a replacement for therapy. I'm not a therapist and I always recommend you work through my workbooks with one!

My workbooks are in standard US Letter Size (unless otherwise specified) and should be printed on standard US Letter Size Paper.
When printed, the colors might be darker or vary from what you see on your computer screen.
